Team Satty and what we want

Good afternoon to everyone. I hope all had a great weekend. It was so nice to see all the TEAM SATTY shirts out lastnight at Rookies along with the great stories and laughs I shared. (Also shared some really good hugs!) I do want everyone to know that Team Satty is not specifically about Todd Satterfield and his cancer. This site will be for a bigger purpose. Informing facts and educating people about this disease. Passing positive influence on to the next individual in anyway, shape, or form. I would also like to invite any cancer survivor or individual battling this disease to become apart of Team Satty. Sharing experience as well as awareness of survival is of utmost importance. So many individuals that beat cancer are forgotten and we should focus on the individual's that win this battle as much as those who have left for a better place. Please contact us if you have any other questions. Have a great day and again thank you for all of your support.

  1. Hi, my name is Debby Patterson and I think this is a wonderful think you are doing.I have been a cancer survival well over ten years. You see I had a very small mole that my doctor found and he wanted to do a byopsy on it,but I wasn't worried, because I never thought skin cancer was dangerous.Boy was I ever wrong, because I had the type of skin cancer that is ver deadly if not found in time and can kill you quick. It is call(malignant melanoma)and after I read up on this itwas very scarry, but I was lucky it was caught in time. It starts from a mole that is flat and found in mostly fair skin people. I was in remission for 5yrs and have my moles checked out every 6 months. So, I did beat this and I have to thank my doctor for seeing it when I went for a check up. I wouldn't have thought anything about it,because I never thought moles were deadly. So, everyone needs to check these things out too when they go to their doctors. It was almost too late for me, because I was in the 2nd stage almost going in the 3rd stage, but since I hadn't to the 3rd I didn't have to take any kemo or radiation. So, folks beware of things you can have and not know it.

As well as all others who have lost their battle, won their battle or are currently fighting this awful disease. I continue to pray everyday.
